
I'm sorry I could not generate a better image than this. But even blown up and cropped you'll have to squint to see the eye-sockets in question.
But the interesting thing is that the National Museum of Scotland is asking sculptors and artisans to see if they can determine if empty eye sockets in historic carvings could have been filled with a form of glass eye.
