Stone-Hedge

Around Stonehenge there was a Hedge.

18th and 19th Century Watercolor paintings gave a clue. But it was not until
April 2009 that high-resolution surface lasers were used to examine the land around Stonehenge.

The results... apparently a hedge meant to keep the ceremonies secret.

If you click on the "READ MORE" button, you will be taken to a nice National Geographic article which will explain it all.

But in essence what it will talk about is that historians and scientists ignored evidence that was readily available in the form of art. Evidence that indicates that there was a large obstructing hedge around Stone Henge.

Thanks for posting. It's a lonely biz being on this side.

Regards!
