If There's a Labyrinth, Does That Mean There's a Minotaur?

The MailOnline (DailyMail)is giving an update on the mythical (?) maze of Crete. (Apparently not all that mythical, huh.)

... scholars say the new site is an equally plausible setting for the legend, The Independent reported.

The new site, known locally as Labyrinthos Caves, is made up of nearly three miles of interlocking tunnels with widened areas and dead end rooms.

What surprised me was that there were so many places that opted for the title.

  1. Well, I believe if they put a bunch of superstitious people in a labyrinth, and make sure they are at least a little bit drugged or at least intoxicated and then just give them a torch and put them in front of a muscled man wearing the head of a bull, there is a Minotaur... . ;)

  2. Ann, that's rather a clever interpretation. Good going.
